Default Re: 1966 Biscayne Restoration

So after a slow start to the year business picked up and more money was put into my project. The engine got assembled and the transmission and front suspension got rebuilt as well. I replaced both wiring harnesses and all parts that will give me a headache in the future like the starter, alternator, water pump etc.

The engine is basically an LS-6, with 11.25:1 forged pistons, NOS LS-6 crank and forged rods. The heads were ported and polished with bigger valves and the roller cam is a custom grind at 238/248 duration .678 lift and a 108 LSA. It is finally running and I am heading over to get 3" exhaust under it and then to the paint shop for body work and paint. It should be done in mid to late Oct.
