Pete,

I agree with the hand written numbers having no relation to each other. My 67 Lynndale Benchmark roadster was vin # 194677S103231 & had 270 ? grease penciled on the firewall below the heater box. The tank sheet had a totally different number (which I don't remember) I sold it to a Tom O'Grady out of "The Woodlands" Texas in 1999. I sure mss that car!

I never heard of a Reedman/Baldwin Motion thing either. As big as Reedman is and was not sure if they would need a BM outlet but it sounds good.
