Default Re: Canadian Window Sticker Help?

One of the Carl's on Canadian Poncho had a Canada delivery SD car he documented and sold a few years back so may be a good guy to hook up with?
Plus Todd the CP founder who's on this site too has a mid 70's Cdn. delivery Firebird and may be able to help?
Don't miss this month's CP feature car, a '61 Canadian Poncho W-Power bubbletop!

Here's a couple leads that may help, sorry if a goose chase but if either goes anywhere it may be worth looking at any paperwork they may have?

1 - What's the 71/72 Firebird survivor steel wheel/moon caps car I'm thinking of that we looked at here a few years ago, on eBay maybe or a member's car?
Anyone know what car I'm thinking of, stick car maybe but either way wasn't it a Canadian delivery and maybe out Vancouver way?

2 - Maybe you know of this one but I recall reading about a car very similar to yours, even LMP delivered too but maybe a 73?
Sorry if I'm mixing up car stories but was maybe a dealer demo later sold and stored/seldom driven but appeared periodically on the streets of London?

Best o' luck w/ your quest!

I submitted my info and am awaiting a response to make my log-in work. I had no idea such a site existed! Hopefully I can get some kind of answer.

I am curious: for you Canadians, when you go to a new car dealer, is there a similar window sticker even in the window on cars up there? The reason we have them in the US is due to the 1959 law that was sponsored by Senator Munroney, (the reason window stickers are called "Munroneys&quot. The law made it mandatory that specific items had to be listed on a sheet in the window of every new car or face a serious fine for each offense. This consumer protection law was the result of too many dealer ripoffs of customers being charged extra for items that were already standard equipment.

Were they the same as the US versions back in the 1970s? Anyone have a vintage example?
