Two super nice rides. Saw Mr. Orrs in person at CB. You gotta love the 70 L78's.

Micheal, Tupelo,MS has one of the even rarer 395 Automatics.

This car is ultimate "Sleeper". Gold, no stripes, no cowl induction. Bench, shift on the colum.
He's going to break it out one of these days. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Just curious. Where did you get a break down of 4-speeds vs. automatics?

That's just a guesstimate by Dan Carr,and not actual.
Extrapolation does not work when talking about actual optioned vehicles produced.There are just too many variables to consider.
They made 2144 1970 L-78 coupe &amp; cvt. Chevelles &amp; Elcaminos,and that does NOT include the 18 w/Al.head L-89 option.
Although the ratio for Auto. vs. M/T is low,no one knows for certain.
