Long before the word "generation" was used to describe these cars, the 62-65 were the "box" Novas. The 66-67 were definitely NOT in that category. (and this was WAAAYY before Steve's Nova site and Algores Internet)

The whole generation discussion is stupid. If you follow the way &quot;Steve's Nova Site&quot; divides it up, which I do not, the gens should be as follows. 62-65=1st 66-67=2nd 68-72=3rd 73-74=4th and 75-79=5th. If they are going to make 66 &amp; 67 a generation then the 73 &amp; 74 should also be a generation.
