Default Re: Gauges Quality

Have you thought about the repop Stewart Warner greenline gauges? I think their tach only goes to 8000 though. Vintage look with modern internals.
Same goes for the repop Super Tach, only 8000 rpm.
I haven't used any of these, so I don't know the quality.

Hemi, thanks. Hadn't seen them. Was/am leaning towards the "SUN" Tach as that's what the Yenko's used from the dealership. But like the "green-line" SW gauges for there look. Wish they had Oil Temp though for my set-up! We use that also to get an indication if a bearing or somethings is starting to go away as there's in no "cooling" effect like the water. So if under normal conditions you notice that the oil temp is 5+ degs higher, we start looking at things a little more serious.

As for the tach. Too bad these are only 8000 rpm deals. From what we know with a vintage Lemans motors we've sent to France, they like to see about 8400-8600 rpms when the needs arises.
