Bresee Chevrolet; which sold many high perf. cars back in the day (including Yenkos), was recently purchased buy a multi franchised auto mall. This month the dealership location where this car was sold from is scheduled to close. I believe it was the oldest family owned chevy dealership in Central New York.

Anybody restoring a COPO should kill to own this car just for the parts..Mint as new black carpet that has never been cut, sill plates, dash cluster, dash pad, jack assembly, wiper arms, window stainless, glass, silver grill, mirrors, door handles etc. You could strip this fine ride, load it up with repo crap, sell it and be in the correct mint parts for your car dirt cheap.

I think I hear 200 people screaming.........

That was my recommendation in your original thread, of course mine was a self-serving comment

I hope this car serves to be a better investment if the new owner leaves it as is.

Anybody involved in the hobby should be so lucky as to have this car sitting in their garage as a go-to reference car.... whether you're restoring a COPO or any first generation Camaro, building clones, involved in judging, building or selling reproduction parts, writing reference books, or if you just appreciate looking at the car... and you can drive and enjoy it too!

Beautiful car Charley. Many possibilities there, or just leave it alone and enjoy the heck out of it.
