Motor is not exclusive to electricity. I had to build a mousetrap powered car in school. Is the mousetrap a motor or an enigne?

engine: (n) motor that converts thermal energy to mechanical work.

motor: (n) machine that converts other forms of energy into mechanical energy and so imparts motion.
