Always start with who you sold it to (obviously). Try and remember the city the purchaser was from. If you have a city/town your headed in the right direction. It sounds like the car was in nice shape when you sold it. Check with surrounding cities and see if you any of them hosted car shows. Local clubs will ALWAYS remember cars that attended.

The guy I sold it to, bought it to flip and sold it about two weeks later. During the DMV title search I found the address of the last titled owner (not registered owner). I sent a few letters to the address but received no reply. I guess the past owner doesn't live there anymore, doesn't know where the car is or just doesn't want to be bothered. |
