It says on the sign that only 13 are known to exist. Do you know if this one is on that list. I can provide the VIN.
It's owned by a Buick enthusiast over here who already has one '70 GSX and one '71 GSX. The 'vert is under restoration at the moment. Original color is green or gold, can't really remember. Jan |

Had a few laughs with the owner of that Blue Stage 1 vert at MCAN.I could have bought it for $3k back in HS, previous owner acually let me take it for a "test" drive, easy rubber all 4 gears as I recall. I was a 17-18 yr old punk kid, but dad would not lend me the 3k to buy it. I knew exactly what it was back then. Beautiful car

It is great how every make has pretty much evened out in value in the past 10 years with the rest of the pack, these cars are just as rare, well respected and beatifull as a Chevelle/442 and other A body cars.
I really like them all

Hey Jim! Great to talk to you. What's the odds ? I didn't know you were a member here as well. Sure would like the find the ownership before Fred, but NY does not seem to be very friendly with title searches. DL

Don, pleasure to meet you as well. Beautiful car and I remember it fondly. I metioned that I did see another 70 Stage vert 4spd running around the north shore of the island here about 6-7 yrs ago, it was Gold, white top I believe. NY is tough on finding ownership history, did you see if the dealership is still around.? I have to beleive that the orig owner is still on the island here with the car being ordered at a dealership that far out east on the island. Good luck with it.

Mcnamara is in federal pen for a ponzi scheme . I understand that there is a operating dealership of some sort on that site,it is in Port Jefferson. I did have someone send me a license plate frame from Mcnamara Buick Pontiac inc though
