that slightly dented up tag would make me nervous. How does that happen without being being taken off the car?

I had to help a friend get out of a numbers switched car, and the tag was not even dented like that, when the tag was moved to another car. Maybe the original car was in a wreck? Be very careful.

The owner told me he has owned the car for 15 yrs and the tag has never been taken off the car.
