I recognize that street! It is downtown New Haven, Connecticut. The New Haven Green is on the left. It is the corner of Church and Chapel Streets. My Dad was a surgeon and had his office a couple blocks to the left of the photo, on Church Street South. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]

The photo is circa 1971, judging from the lime green Vega next to the Pontiac station wagon, the CT Transit buses...It's 3:55 PM, according to the Second National Bank of New Haven sign. Got to be after Memorial Day, and before Labor Day going from the white sport coat the jaywalker is wearing . [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif[/img]

you should be able to tell what day of the week it is based on traffic and the amount of trash in the can [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif[/img]
