Believe me, I am trying to get them changed over!!!!!

Some guys believe that the only way to show up and drive a car is to have radials on it. Although, some of the cars look like they are wearing slicks after the weekend at the track!!!!!

We had 4 '69 Hurst/ Olds in attendance. Fortunately, I still was the quickest qualifying of the group. Some great air made for some incredible MPH on the track, but the first 60' was a bit of a struggle.

very much agree. although I was pulling the best 60' the car has ever done at this track. it had to be the fact the tires are finally getting seasoned. lol

Thanks Rusty. For the record it was 12.73 @ 112.42 with a 2.04 60 ft :-)

I believe the best 60s in prior races at Stanton was in the low 2.teens, maybe 2.13. a few runs I spun a little and still pulled 2.15s. I had a 2.04 as noted, a 2.06, 2.08, a couple 2.11s. There were some that were worse, but vs Harbitt I pulled the 08 and 04. The last run I tried to launch harder and spun big time, 2.24

at SCR14 I was pulling consistent 2.0 60s. Route 66 hooks and I'm VERY much looking forward to next year
