This is an easy one..as I've only owned one 69er..a one paint survivor..everything was 'right' 'cept the spoiler and originally was a flat hood...

I forgot who I was talking to..

It had the original argent grill painted black,probably done back when nobody cared. It was one of those tell tale signs it was the real thing..as were the original Z-28 emblems.

And yeah I guess there was a lot of wrong stuff on it..It was never restored but it had been 'repaired' over the years, Complete born with drive-train. Orig alt, carb even shifter as I remember. If I made it out to be a showstopper, I over spoke, However since it was the ONLY 69' Z I've owned. It was my favorite. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/burnout.gif[/img]

I miss those days. Seeing Charley tear apart his red Z reminds me of the fun my buddies and I used to have with our cars, not a care in the world other than 'improving' our cars.
