Local guy used to do it...It was a zinc spray system that he had. He got it repo'ed and sold off when the bank took his shop back. He kept the gun from my understanding but the base got sold.

I guess it worked on the theory that the Zinc could be flame sprayed on and would encapp the rust and stop the rust from rusting more. You could build up the Zinc also and make it as thick as you wanted. Kinda like a new version of lead. This was 10 years ago.
