this car has been discussed here before. Could have been bought for 44K about a year and a half ago with an Over The Counter L88 in it - according to the then owner anyway (yes he is a member here, maybe he sold it to RK, maybe it is on consignment) originally a small-block, 3-speed, 10-bolt car that some guy named Topper Farrar built using chevy go-fast parts back in the day (Doug Nash 5-speeds in 1969??) - apparently "everyone associated with DANA Chevrolet knows this car intimately and no paperwork is needed as to its origins..." that is what the current seller told me anyway. It's a COPO tribute which may or may not have spent some time in the bays of DANA Chevrolet's garage. It's about 15-20K heavy on the price in my opinion.

aren't the principals of dana chevrolet still alive? peyton cramer? guldstrand? if they know the car so "intimately" why not get letters signed - wouldn't that solidify it as a DANA Camaro? yes? no?
