Default Re: Coil Spring Question

Bergy, i just went thru H@ll replacing 68Z front springs. The set i ordered from HBC did not do anythng for the ride height. Ordered another set, and no difference. Ordered a third set from Ricks and the same issue. When i asked for the tech specs of the springs, no one was able to provide the details. Also, when i got them in the boxes, there was NO way to tell one spring from another....no markings on the springs, just the label on the box. Finally i called Eaton springs, told them my delima and with their help they shipped me a set that was right on the money! They can also make springs to your specs, ie, if you need a certain ride height different than stock.

I should have started with them in the first place. Dont get me wrong, im not bashing HBC, Dave that works there made it right, and did it quickly after i discussed what i went thru with his springs and his vendor.

Hope this helps
