Mopars are cool!
took the family out tonight to a car show, and so far the hemi gtx provides the most fun out of the cars I have, going to the show (tons of room inside), at the show (tons of trunk space for lawn chairs), and country rides after the show (4spd+hemi+disk brakes). wife happy/kids happy = daddy happy as they say.

I've owned a few of those cars. The urge to put on a pair of thick, black rimmed glasses and drive around humming the music from the opening scenes of the chase from Bullitt is almost undeniable.

The old haunted Jersey Girl.

1970 Charger R/T-SE 426 Hemi 4-speed. The only red one built, out of the 16 cars known to have been produced.

With some garage-mates back in 1990...(the original paint, 71 hemi sunroof Charger on the left and the Y2 Yellow/black cloth interior hemi Daytona on right. I bought that Daytona in 1989 as a resto project from Otis Chandler. Under its hood was the correct dated hemi engine for my 70. That exact engine turned out to have originally come in the very next 1970 hemi Charger built right after mine on the assembly line back on Dec 8, 1969. The block VIN is 21 cars after mine)

And as I found her, here in Joysey in 1987 with 12,234 miles:
