My wife's brother lives in the area not too far from the crash site. When I first heard of the accident, I thought perhaps he may have swerved to avoid a deer as the area is absoutely overrun with them. The photo sure looks like he probably just didn't negotiate the exit ramp. Yikes.
Each time we go to visit her brother, we pass the antique shop on Route 1 that reportely was Jungle Jim Liberman's residence at one time.
Before I read the news story about the crash, I too had never heard of the guy. Apparently, "popular culture" has passed me by. . . I'm OK with that . . .
