I don't know if it's the same car, but there was a guy with the last name Armstrong who had a '64 389, tri power, 4 speed GTO that was kind of a red/pink factory color. It was very fast. Bought new at Don Davis Pontiac which was located on Main Street in Williamsville at the time. The dealership is still around (although they have moved) - maybe they have old records?
