Distributor Rebuild

Completed the car last week and finally got it out driving. Original distributor was convereted with a mallory kit. When the driving the car it occassionally sputters or sounds like it misses and lugs. Also, the tach flutters when this is happening. These items just seem linked to the ignition and distributor to me.

Since everything else is new and the distributor is 44 years old, it seems like a good place to start. I didn't do anything to it, but clean it up during the restoration of the car.

I'm open to suggestions for other places to look though.
