I'm going to run a 12:1 427, big roller, and lots of head work. I don't know if that changes your opinion at all? I guess I should of said that.

Have Stahl, Lemon, Gebler etc. make you a set. OR that kind of motor work was done in the old days also with store bought headers and the cars ran low 11's camaros, novas, chevelles etc. So, do what you want! Its not rocket science.

To really tune headers perfect you should run one or two tubes over to the other sides collector, all depending on firing order and crank design (90° or 180°).

I think this was the major reason why they changed the firing order on ProStock engines, switching #3 and #6 to get a better exhaust flow through the headers.

Yea, like the sound of the old style 180 degree headers. Almost like a 6 cylinder.
