I'm sure the one I was in was a 4 speed. Fairly sure it was blue but we are testing my 40 years ago memory. Several years later I was looking for a transmission. Found one listed in the Bargain News, went to the house (in Norwalk) and there was what I think was the same Duece, in really bad shape, tranny in the trunk. Bought the tranny and put into my '69 327 Camaro hot rod.

Nooooooo! The tranny was fine. I think whoever owned it hurt the engine (it was definitely a race car) and was in the middle of a "driveway engine swap", gave up and started to part it out.

The tranny did end up at either LaJoies or LeBlancs junk yard shortly after that though because the guy I sold my hot rod 327 Camaro to wrapped around a telephone pole the same day he bought it from me.

Take it back to the Hot Rod status. That would be so cool with that hood on it and all the decals. Awsome. Just my opion though.
