These guys are correct---"pie crust" slicks were run in 1964 vintage cars. They were long gone by 1969. Look in any 69 vintage car magazine.Go to the M&H Racemasters or check out some Mickey Thompson Indy Profiles, if you can find them. Summit Racing still has stock but I believe M/T is no longer building them.

The BFG Drag Radials,M&H drag radials as well as the new Goodyear DOT drag radials look good and handle better than any of these "old school" tires. Put 32 pounds in them and they don't even look like radials from the side. Don't even look at the Jap stuff from Nitto.
