Oh yeah, I can see where you're coming from about the 8-second time slips so I'll attempt to clarify a bit. Anybody that has done serious drag racing knows how brutal & unforgiving the dragstrip timers can be! People that can afford these $100,000 Cobra Jet Mustangs that think that they're gonna go to their local Dragstrip Test 'n Tune session on the immediate Wednesday night after picking up their CJ Mustang and impress their buddies with a string of 8-second time slips is living on Fantasy Island. But that being said......the basics are here and these cars really are capable of high-8's BUT only when set-up for their intended NHRA Stock Eliminator trim with a competent driver.
