Mark: Mecum is by far the cheapest auction house for buyer and seller fees. I thought that it was 8% Reserve and 6% No Reserve. BJ is only No Reserve which allows them to basically double their sales by having 100% Sell-through. I thought that RS would have a different rate for No Reserve Sales. I've bought and sold many cars at Mecum and don't remember the rates. Its tough getting old.
I still think that its necessary to have a reserve if you're selling a car. I have never sold anything at no resrve. Yikes!

Mecum Auctions have a Vehicle Sellers Commission ('VSR') of 6% for reserve auctions and 4% for non-reserve auctions at Kissimmee, FL later this month. For the Kansas City (3/11) and Indianapolis Auctions (5/11) the 'VSR' is 7% and 5%, respectively. The Buyer's Premium (commission) is 6% at Kissimmee...not sure if that percentage will remain the same at K.C. and Indy (not available on their website at this time).
