More completely unverified details in regards to the proto-type ZL1 car(s). During discussions with someone that has a little bit of knowledge and does seem to have some technical data on this car, I was told that (2) cars were produced. From this it is thought that one was destroyed and that one may have moved on to the ranks of executive or VIP brass.
From what I have been told, these (100) cars were intended to more consumer (street worthy) versions of the original (69) cars that were produced.
I think the details relating to these proto-type cars is just as undocumented as the 1969 ZL1 Corvette. What was once thought to be (1) car, then (2) and as of late of have heard up to (6) cars.
Someone somewhere knows about these cars - unfortunately those people might sadly be pushing up daisies.
