Stolen Dump Truck

A 17 year old stole a dump truck in Stow Ohio, north of Akron, yesterday. The police chase lasted over 50 miles through Stow, south on SR 8, and I77 south through Cuyahoga Falls, Akron, Canton and beyond.
He trashed three police cars and several other cars on Stow city streets before entering the freeway.

It makes me think of all those Smokey and the Bandit type of movies where there are multiple police cars chasing one car/truck ... you would have to expect carnage, if not from the dump truck running over the cars, from the cop cars hitting each other ...

Meanwhile back in town 2 banks and 3 liquor stores were robbed in broad daylight with no police to respond to 911 calls...

I know right where that chase ended on RT. 250 just south of Strasburg, Ohio.

They should try that 17 year old as an adult, then sentence him to the big boys penitentiary and let him get violated there and see what the big time &quot;Gangsta Thug Life&quot; is all about that some of these stupid teens think is so cool.... That punk is lucky he was not shot...
