The 69 Nova SS came standard with the E-70 x 14 with red stripes. Whitelines were an option...no raised white letters until the early 70's. I would imagine most OEM tires were Uniroyal Tiger Paws or Firestone Wide Ovals at the time, perhaps other brands as well...hope that helps.

I had Uniroyal red lines on my original 69 nova when new. My nova that I own now has the Goodyear Speedway red line tires. I wish they made an E70/14 Goodyear Speedway RL in repo but I don't think they do.

You are correct. They make an E70-14 Polyglas redstripe repo, but not a Speedway Redstripe in that size. A F70-14 Speedway Redstripe is available.

Yes, I know the F's are available. Tell your buddy to make an E in that style. Many cars would be happy.

Okay, fair question..... How many here would purchase an E70-14 Speedway WideTread redstripe? Like I said, the E70-14 Polyglas Redstripe is available as well as the F70-14 Speedway Wide Tread and Polyglas Redstripe.

I would buy a set ! Maybe two.
