I still have the POP and original owners manual for my '66 Chevelle SS396 . . .

Would be a pleasure to reunite these with the car's current owner if it's still out there . . . These three photos (retrieved from my "treasure box") were taken on a poloroaid type camera in the Kansas City Area (Blue Ridge Mall), late fall of 1967 - sure wish I had taken the time for a few photos of my '69 DH back in the day. Amazing how well they have held up . . . There will be lots of new photos and other 'hunt related' stuff to accompany my original car docs in that 'treasure box' via DVD later on . . . Did you take any photos under the hood? That would be neat to see.

 Hi Rick:

No engine pictures on the '66 Chevelle - only the three shown above. Not a single picture of my '69 DH Chevelle at all - sure glad I tucked away the docs! Regrettable but pictures were just not one of my priorities back in the day . . . Last edited by RogerD; 03-24-2017 at 12:50 PM. |

 Awesome to see it progressing!

It's like watching a 1:1 scale model kit going together. Only no airplane glue fingerprints on the windshield. (I dont think I ever successfully built a car model without those darn fingerprints!) Keep the photos coming. |
