|  69 Z/28  CLUTCH FAN 
			
			iam getting differant views on what fan clutch is correct for a 69 z car  on the crg research site it shows the clutch for all 69 chevys ? and a differant one for l78 & copo several people are telling me the style for the l78 is correct for the z ?  the clutch i have is like the all 69 picture @ crg  and is 6 inchs across in size |

			Jerry M has an interesting explanation in his book.Apparantly although the fan blade design is identical on the Z/28, L72 and L78, there are technical differances. The Z/28 and the BB cars got both the stamped and unstamped fans, Technically speaking, both fan assemblies would be correct for 302, 396, and 427 solid lifter engines. |

"The L78/COPO used part number 3946050 (stamped CZ) and the Z28 used 3946804 (stamped CV), both Eaton-supplied units."
