| 69' Nova front & rear glass moulding clips

The person performing the body work on my nova has made arrangements for the glass man to install new front and rear windshield's in my 69 Nova. There are rivits for several moulding clips for the stainless trim, on the car. The person who originally removed the old clips is no longer available. Does anyone know roughly how many clips should be used for each glass. I suspect that all the rivits did not have clips as there are several. Thanks, Rick |

Every rivit/stud should get a clip. Jason |

Indeed, each stud gets a clip and I wouldn't skip any because the s/s molding might look funky.

The bigger question is which clips. There are several colors of what at first glance look to be identical. Upon close inspection you can see slight differences, mostly the little lip that engages the trim. I never was able to definitively determine which ones were correct for my Camaro, but the ones I used have held for many years. |

I also would like to know the right ones for my 70 camaro. So far I have blown the chrome strips off the car twice at 135 mph.
