Change in philosophy - think I'm pleased

Nice...You'll get spoiled with the sound over time,and want every vehicle you drive to have it.
I've noticed the same thing on other cars and fixed my tip length by cutting the removable tips down 1-1/2" and setting the table @ a 45 degree angle with a band saw,cleaning up the cut with a beltsander,then having them rechromed again @ my local plater.That also removed the after market bevel cut as well.
Using NOS 40 year old tips didn't help,as the problem is the tailpipe to resonator position.
