On a similar note, I'd also like to know if anyone can restore the upper glass channel for the rear quarter window?

Wayne,

I thought that was what Dave was looking for, hence my post. You used to be able to get the vertical and the top to rear restored. The last set I had done came with a bright bead that you needed to paint black. otherwise were nicely done.

The guy who was re doing them stopped, probably because they were such a pain to do.

I also have a set of the repop'd flexible versions. I think made by Ted Williams. Never installed them. They were not available for very long.

I have not seen a NOS top to rear. You can find the NOS verticals every now and again.

Greg

Thanks Greg for your input and advice. I've restored a number of cars and try to use NOS parts or have my originals restored. I guess there are only so many NOS parts and most of those are now on restored cars. I can't believe how bad the quality is on alot of the reproduction parts. Oh well, thats the hobby we're in and I'm glad I am.
Thanks again,
Dave L.
