Our Saturday morning group was together yesterday when the sad email came in from Paul’s wife. He was doing well from cancer treatment and caught pneumonia. He just couldn’t overcome the pneumonia in his weak state.

Paul was usually with us on Saturday morning as we “tried” to fix cars, so it was fitting we heard the news while we were all together on Saturday.

The fun thing about Paul was that he liked and collected all cars from Ferrari's to Mercury’s, nothing was off limits to him. Many of us went on trips with him in his Freightliner motor home and he drove that truck like Lance Armstrong rode a bike. He just wouldn’t stop until he reached his destination.

We’re going to miss him.

Very sorry to hear that. I didn't even know he had health issues.

Very sorry to hear this. Paul and I had corresponded several times and we had very similar tastes in our affection for early-60's Musclecars. He owned a '62 SD 421 Catalina and an extremely neat and very rare Mercury Marauder 427-425 HP. Sorry to hear of his passing.

Paul loved those big musclecars and had most all brands covered.
He taught me lots about the Pontiac SD cars.
