Geez...I remember when certain folks thought that Howard was one of those folks...when he put out a wish list for cars wanted.....

I remember posting some of Howards cool cars...and the rest is history!

Bob and Bruce,
I think this situation is a little different. Bob indeed sounded like a nice guy and was very nice on the phone. However, after sending him the Deuce VIN list in exchange for the Kline Chevrolet invoice for Dana's Yenko and then hearing all kinds of excuses as to why I might never see it just does not sit well with me. I am about as honest as they come and expect the same in return. I gave him what he wanted and offered to pay for what I wanted in exchange and for Dana's car ONLY and as of yet have NOTHING. He told me that all the paperwork was at &quot;Bill's&quot; house in Northern Minnesota yet proceded to tell me what the invoice said about Dana's car and even read me the VIN number to confirm it. I have done nothing malicious on my end but have received nothing but total B/S in return. The sad fact is, I don't even have anything to gain in all these efforts other than to help Dana (who also spoke with Bob).

Sorry to hear that, Rick. I honestly don't understand people. And the older I get, the less I seem to understand. In my book, your honesty and helpfulness being taken advantage of is not cool.

people, no body was taken avantage of, rick knows why he has not recieved anything from me. talked to the person he is working, for, and explained the problem. the list I got from them, was deleted, never printed. recieved 3 other lists, from other people, do not need theres, talked to dana , owner of car ricks working on , told him the problem, also told him I would hold the paper workwork on his car for HIM. My reason for being on this site waS to give away all the yenko, chev. material I have saved over the years ,begining in 68. As my time is short. leaving today for northern. MN.AS the weather has been bad up there untill a few days ago. to CHRIS working on the 68 clone, will send you the original pictures, when I return, for free. I can either give away my info now, or people can probably buy it on e-bay later. There is now, and never has been, any bad intensions on my part. This is the last post I will give on the negative posts. Bob krueger.

Why are you giving away paperwork if you are still restoring a 68 Yenko yourself? It is a nice gesture, but makes no sense.

I'd like to know that too. And if you have all of this pertinent documentation in hand, why were you attempting to provide info on this board that contradicts what most here know to be correct? Case-in-point:

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: original owner</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> Gentlemen the camaros sold in 67 and 69 with the auto tran's, had hydro, lifters, There H,P. ratings were 1967 410 H.P. 1969 425 H.P. There are no hydro. lifters on L72 427 V8's. ...thank you Bob krueger. </div></div>

It would seem if you have all of pertinent data in hand, you would have been acutely aware of the fact there was no hydraulic lifter 427 1969 Yenko Camaro built.

And before I forget Bob: Where's the real documentation you have on the ZLX and the L36 Passenger Car engines used in Medium Duty Trucks?

Bruce, your cool and I did not take that the wrong way at all, same with (Bob) Belair. Just venting again. I have only had about 3 days off in the last three months and wasting time is one thing I take VERY seriously. If Bob can provide Dana with paperwork on his car so we can finally trace the one person that has not been found (the original owner) then all is forgotten. Bob also had many original photos of his 68 Yenko when he puchased it new and those would also be priceless to me. I did offer to pay him for copies of those.

I know Bob is being hounded by people wanting to use what he has to their monetary advantage and has received a LOT of calls from those kinds of people. Many of those are guys that claim &quot;they never come here anymore&quot;. I am NOT one of those people and don't want to be treated as such.

Ok, I have said enough on this subject and it is time to move on as I am again wasting time instead of working!
Rick
