What he said. Have you actually DRIVEN a 65 - 70 Mustang? You will be wanting your Chevelle back.

actually, I have not. I have however owned a 65 falcon & Fairlane. For whatever that is worth.....

Just my opinion, with apologies to the Ford guys out there: your Chevelle is twice the car compared to an early Mustang.
Go drive a few before selling your car. I had a 66 Mustang, V* auto, power steering, factory AC (which was just a crappy looking unit hung under the dash). Gave it away.
