Even if it did work, that means I have to dig up a thread I'm involved in, dig up my post, click my screen name to pick up where I left off last time I visited this site? If yes, I call bullshit. Some of us are actually mechanically adept, and barely get by in the computer world. If the change is to accomodate the computer dork, and not the mechanic, I'm gone. So PLEASE lemme know oh wise one

Hey Groucho, you were only here for about a week with the old site, so it shouldn't be too hard to adapt to the new one. As Jeff said, explore it a little and you may surprised how much you can figure out with some messing around. Some guys used the old forum for 10+ years, the transition for them (and myself included) is probably alot bigger... yet most are dealing with it pretty well, at least after the initial shock starts to wear off.

I admittedly don't like everything about it either, but we'll get used to it. There are still changes being made too, as Rob (the administrator) is continuing to tweak it to be as user friendly as possible. It'll get there.

Please watch the language btw, I'm a HAMB'er too, but this aint the HAMB. We "try" to keep it a little less low-brow here. Not sure if I posted in your initial thread, but nice rides you have there. -JB

Calm down and stop the name calling. Once the upgrade is complete we hope things will become simplified. This is new to all of us, its called a learning process.

Okay, the new format is a little weird but I am quickly adjusting to it. I was a little nervous over the weekend when the site was just a dark page with no threads but I figured there was an update in the making. Onward!

You can probably just click on your name over on the right hand side where it says Who's Online to get to your profile, then your posts. No need to make it so hard.

I like this new look..OldGas.com has this exact same website format so I'm familiar with it,and you can tell ours is being dialed in while we all type away.
Very nice & thank you for continuing the fine service you do here Rob & co.

So, can I ask, what's the "up" side of the change? A lot of boards change things, and it always seems different, but NOT better. So, why?
