Thanks fellas!
 Sam, yes the tires were officially "broken in" last week...and it reminded me of trying to rollerskate for the first time. I was all over the road!!! Of course the engine may have something to do with that... Bill, the rims are 15X7's & 15X8's - both have the same 3-7/8" backspace with slightly different offsets. The rearend is from Moser Engineering and was shortened up just a bit to help with the wide tires/rims that I originally had on the car (295/50-15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A's with Corvette rallys). So there was no need to "beat the car up" in order to make them fit. Besides, I am NOT a big believer in forcing something to fit with a big hammer. I had those same wheels/tires on a former 68 Chevelle. Kent, what are the widths and the back spacing of the wheels? Did they fit in the back without using a hammer on the quarter lip?
