Moving to Phoenix in June , I did that a few years ago. Can't say I recommend it, Jan/Feb is a better choice. You will be needing those Koozies.... a lot

After all of this snow and the extreme winter we've had, I don't care how hot it is. I'll just drink plenty of water, apply liberal amounts of sunblock, and where a hat. It's a small price to pay for leaving snow shovels, snow blowers, lawn mowers, and ice melt behind. Last few times I was there in Phoenix, my Advil intake fell of to nothing.

Thanks Bill. I don't know about palacial, but we bought a larger home because of all of the friends and relatives who will no doubt be staying with us. So far, one of Claire's co-worders will visit in July, and her uncle will be visiting later in the year.
