I think you hit on something here! I have an old barn book on my coffee table and if there was some horse power to compliment the country settings I would probably have some worn pages.....

Me likey. Had one myself when I was in law school in New Orleans - coupe with warmed over L72, 4.11's, 4 sp, factory sidepipes, knockoffs, Maroon with black guts. It was my daily driver and not terribly practical. Sold it to buy a Suburban, a Mercedes, and had enough left over to put a downpayment on a 45' Hatteras...
