Looks like they are older than 12 and still have all their fingers! So what's the big deal?

This is a tough subject.......if you had to, chose to pay for USA mfg goods versus everything we currently import from China/Asia you wouldnt like it.

We as a nation want/enjoy lower pricing on eveything that is sold at ALL the major stores, but complain about the loss of American jobs and quality.

I'm no economist and surely dont have the answer, but doubt there is any turning back. We will all be dead and buried, but I'd surely like to know what will have happened to this great American society in say fifty years.

It took 200+ years to have come this far and how many years will it take to ............

The western world had pretty much the same situation in the 18th century. Lots of lowcost labor in dirty factories.

China will get were we are in much shorter time, but who will do the cheap stuff then?

Big problem in the long run is all the money we send them, the only thing we can sell back is real estate.

They will conquer the world with money instead of nukes.

What if they buy the rest of the world and we all become chinese

answer: people will pay big bucks to go on vacation and come tour our country to look at all the marvels of a once great country....same thing the world does when we vacation to go look at Rome, Greece and wonder around there ruins and take pictures and try to imagine the place when it was the best and controlled the world...think about it for a mintue before saying bs.
