I believe this was the hood on a 68 nova called 2 cent stamp. I have always liked L88 hoods.

I thought I recognized this picture so I asked "The Real McCoy" on Steves Nova site if it was him and he said yes. He told me it was around 1980. Joe is a cool guy

I believe I posted this before at some point. This is a friends Camaro. He still owns it today but it is black. He had it painted this way back in the 70's some time. 327 4 speed car.
