That car looks similar to this one! The guy that owns this live in New Glarus, WI. I took this at the Wings and Wheelz show in Janesville.

June 05 feature.

Looks like 14" up front and 15" out back?

I've got a set of 15x6" Cragar wheels dated in late 1969 that I plan to run on my 65 Malibu SS, Plowman's 67 Nova, Eileen's 69 Camaro and Monica's 69 Nova.

You can get 7" wheels to fit out back, but it will be tight. and searching for the right offset can be a challenge. What size tire do you want to run?

I like that whole picture. The car is sweet. I dig the house too. Probably a cool place to live.

Any of you old Day-2 guys ever paint your brake drums white back in the old days? I was toying with that idea. Opinions?

Sammy...
Some things were done ,"Back in the day" that I never thought were cool, painting anything white on the undercarriage might be one of them

I never did it either Mike on the brake drums or undercarriage BUT may look cool now with my car being Fathom green and checking out some old magazines. Can always repaint the drums easy enough.

I remember when I was a kid talking to a construction worker in my neighborhood who drove in each morning in a GTO. He had painted his Drums red to match his car. He had a torque thrust style wheel and the drums were very visible. I have never seen white though. I remember the guy looked a lot like Steven Tyler from Aerosmith.... The GTO also has glasspacks and shackles and several things hanging from the rear view mirror.. Maybe a squirrel tail or red tail hawk feathers...

The fenderwells and front frame stub on my COPO Chevelle were painted white by the original owner. Might have looked cool with the tube-around-the-framerail Super Comp headers.

White undercarriage is a good thing (it preserves a non undercoated car )
