the 2nd remake will bomb as well. The guy the picked for Steve M just doesnt cut it
The 97 remake had Danno as the HI Governor

i remember back in the 80's,they tried to get Jack Lord on Magnum PI,and he wanted nothing to do with it.
the plots in those hawaii five-o shows were awesome. who could forget Ho-Fat?

Hands down,one of the best thought out TV shows ever produced.I have nearly every episode on beta.
I often wondered why they didn't just use the real names of the ethnic character actors,as they were pretty close already? Khigh Dhiegh as Wo Fat Kam Fong as Chin Ho Kelly Harry Endo as Che Fong Zulu as Kono Moe Keale as Truck Kealoha Kwan Hi Lim as Tosaki Seth Sakai as Batai Tommy Fujiwara as Charlie Ling Nephi Hannemann as Aku
