"Heartbeat city" sells the tape, and various restoration marking paints.

Thanks Mike. I found something very similar to that on the 68 Yenko and was pretty sure that was what it was. Thanks for posting to pic.

Thought I'd seen pics somewhere showing how top rubber bushing was taped to subframe, prior to body being bolted on.

Now I read where tape was on floor of body for a water test ??????

The tape was for the water test and was sticky side up against the floor pan. The idea that the bushings were somehow taped up is an old wives tale as far as I know. Why would you tape a body bushing up side down when all you need to do is set it on the frame.
