thank you, that is good info.
Now I guess the question is how much? if one assumes it is a legit RS/SS NOM, strong B- car, week paint, solid interior, what is a good price to consider? My thought is the car can be had for $9k, any input would be greatly appreciated. |

Look at it hard on the lift and see whats good and what needs work sheetmetal wise. Start checking all your codes, check out whats right and whats wrong too then build a map it all out on paper.

[/ QUOTE ]Don't have to check too many codes. People pay that kind of money for cowl tag and windshield area. And it runs. ![]() |

9K should be a no brainer if it is not full of rust or bondo. Really look the floors over underneath the car and look in the trunk real well.

I will check it out later this week, it is one of those situations that the guy really does not want the car around anymore and has a number in mind that he wants to see on it. I believe he is going to try to get the car (title) for $5k as the current owner has some personal issues. He is within his rights to take the car now for storage costs but does not want to do that to her. He basically told me he will get rid of it quick and would prefer that than being married to it trying to get top money. I will try to get a pic or two of it later this week and post it with some of the detail. I appreciate the help, I have a second gen but have not spent much time educating myself on the variations/decoding of the first gens.
