I believe the date to be Oct 18th or 19th. The born with M-20 in the 4th week Oct 68 built 69 Z I am restoring right now is not coded, when I inquired KurtS said it just missed the cutoff...

The case is untouch, so I wonder if it was just missed at the assembly plant.

The April M22s that I have all have "C"s.
Also a fine spline input isn't original to a transmission with an April of 69 assembly date.

My first post was wrong. I guess I should of said: Should it have a fine spline input shaft
