My 67 camaro literature shows 4.88 was available with a SS 350, Z/28, and L-78. A friend of mine purchased a 68 SS396 L-78 from Rydell's with factory 4.88s.I have a 67 camaro housing that came to me with 4.88s and the proper carrier. I will check the code to see if it came that way from GM.
