Good info Brian..I know the "O" didn't stand for the date,but I did think it stood for A.O.Smith.
Chuck There may have been varying paint differences in these handles,as they were heavily mass produced for millions of vehicles,but that's just what I have observed when I see an untouched 70 Chevelle/Malibu. Here's one from a 70 survivor I just inspected recently. The camera makes it look much glossier then it really is in person. ![]() Jack mast assembly date.. ![]() |
